The Berlin born Soprano of Greek-Austrian decent has appeared as guest artist at the Dresden Semperoper, the Hamburg State Opera, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf, the opera Leipzig, the opera of Montpellier, the state theatre Kassel, the Vienna Volksoper, the German National Theatre in Weimar, the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich, the Salzburg Landestheater incorporation with the Felsenreitschule, at the Nuremberg State Opera and the theatre Kiel amongst others. This year sge performs roles such as Pamina, Adina, Micaela and Mimi. She is a former member of the Hannover State Opera Ensemble, where she debuted roles such as Gretel, Nanetta, Corinna, Adina, Susanna and Pamina.
Athanasia achieved a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Classical singing and Opera at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. During her Masters Athanasia debuted roles such as Contessa in Mozart’s ”Le Nozze di Figaro“, Donna Anna in "Don Giovanni” and Micaela from Bizets "Carmen”.
Athanasia won the Hübel Foundation scholarship and the Gianna-Szell scholarship, and was awarded the prestigious Austrian Federal Ministry 'Award for Education, Science and Research'.
At the 2014 German National Singing Competition, Athanasia won the collective prize from the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Komische Oper and Berlin State Opera. In 2022 Athanasia was a finalist of the Francesco- Vinas Competition in Barcelona.

Ihren ersten Gesangsunterricht erhielt sie am Julius Stern Institut der Universität der Künste Berlin. Am Mozarteum Salzburg absolvierte sie sowohl ihren Bachelor of Arts, als auch ihr Masterstudium im Fach Oper und Musiktheater mit Auszeichnung. Während ihres Masterstudiums am Mozarteum sang sie Partien wie die Gräfin aus Mozarts »Die Hochzeit des Figaro«,Donna Anna aus »Don Giovanni« und Micaëla aus Bizets »Carmen«. Sie war Stipendiatin der Hübel Stiftung,und des Gianna-Szell Stipendiums und 2014 wurde sie mit dem „Würdigungspreis des Bundesministeriums für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Wirtschaft“ ausgezeichnet. Beim Bundeswettbewerb Gesang 2014 gewann sie den gemeinsamen Preis der Deutschen Oper Berlin, Komischen Oper und Staatsoper Berlin. 2022 war sie Finalistin des Francesco-Vinas Wettbewerbs in Barcelona.
